Deleting Your Aitane Account

How to request deletion of your account and related data for "Aitane" (web, iOS app and Android app) provided by Aitane Inc., which data is deleted, which data is retained, and how long deletion takes.

This page explains how to delete your account and related data for "Aitane" (web, iOS app and Android app), provided by Aitane Inc. (the "Company").

This English translation is provided for reference only. In the event of any discrepancy, the Japanese version shall prevail.

How to request deletion

  1. From the email address registered with Aitane, send an email to support@aitane.co.jp. Use the subject "Account deletion request" and include your registered email address and workspace name in the body.
  2. The Company verifies your identity.
  3. The Company notifies you by email when the deletion is complete.

If you want to delete only some of your data while keeping your account, send a request to the same address and describe the data you want deleted.

Deletion from the settings screen of the app is in preparation.

Data that is deleted

  • Account information (name, email address, profile image)
  • Your membership in every workspace you joined with the same email address
  • Comments you wrote and their attachments, and your AI chat conversations
  • Business card images you imported and the results of reading them
  • Photos, videos and audio you captured with Meta AI glasses, and the transcripts and summaries generated from them
  • Credentials for integrations such as Google and Microsoft
  • Any workspace in which you are the only member is deleted as a whole (including accounts, deals, meeting recordings, etc.)

Data that is retained

  • Business data in workspaces that have other members (accounts, contacts, deals, tasks, uploaded files, meeting recordings and minutes, etc.) remains as the workspace's data. It is deleted within 90 days after the workspace's contract ends.
  • Information on billing, payment, accounting, tax and contracts is retained for the period required by laws and regulations (up to 10 years).
  • Records of operations in a workspace (logs of who did what and when) are retained as the workspace's data for as long as the workspace exists, and are erased when the workspace is deleted. When your account is deleted, the information identifying you as the person who performed the operation is detached from those records.

How long deletion takes

  • The Company deletes the data within 30 days after receiving your request and completing identity verification.
  • Data contained in backups is erased progressively within 90 days from the date of deletion.
