When email, calendar, and contacts sync — and how to sync manually

This page covers sync — how data flows from your connected services into Aitane.
What gets synced
Depending on the connected services, data is imported in this order.
- Contacts
- Email (Gmail or Outlook)
- Calendar
Sync runs automatically. When you need something reflected right away, run Sync now from Settings.
Sync manually
Sync normally runs automatically, but when you need something reflected right away, run Sync now. The button is disabled while syncing to prevent a double run.
Use it for moments like an email arriving from your counterpart right before a meeting.
When sync fails
If a sync fails, check the connection first. An expired permission means the connection is down and sync can't run.
- Check the connection status under Settings → Email & calendar integrations
- If an error is shown, reconnect by following the on-screen guidance
