MCP integration (use Aitane from ChatGPT, Claude, and more)
Setting up external AI such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Notion to look up your Aitane data, and managing connections
Updated 2026.10.13
This page covers connecting external AI such as ChatGPT and Claude to Aitane so it can look up your Aitane data.
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a common standard that lets AI talk to outside services. Aitane provides an MCP server, so supported external AI can connect to it.
For now, external AI can only look up data. Creating or updating Aitane data from external AI, such as updating deals or composing messages, is planned for a future release.
Requirements
The MCP integration is offered as a beta.
- A workspace admin must have turned on External AI. It is off by default
- External AI can only look up data you're allowed to see in Aitane
Through October 31, 2026, it's available regardless of your current plan. Starting in November, availability is planned to follow your plan (we'll share the details before that begins).
Supported external AI and connection URLs
Each external AI uses its own connection URL. Register the URL that matches the external AI you use.
| External AI | Connection URL |
|---|---|
| ChatGPT | https://api.aitane.co.jp/api/mcp/chatgpt |
| Claude (web) | https://api.aitane.co.jp/api/mcp/claude-web |
| Claude Desktop | https://api.aitane.co.jp/api/mcp/claude-desktop |
| Notion | https://api.aitane.co.jp/api/mcp/notion |
Admins: turn on External AI
- Open Settings → Workspace → External AI.
- Turn on 外部AIからの接続を有効にする (Enable connections from external AI).
Only workspace admins can change this setting. Turning it back off stops all access from external AI, including connections that already exist.
Members: ask an admin to turn it on
While External AI is off, Settings → Aitane MCP shows that a request to an admin is required. Click 管理者にリクエストする (Request from admin) to ask your admins to turn it on.
Connect an external AI
- In the external AI's settings, add a custom connector (MCP server) and enter the connection URL from the table above. For where to add it, see that external AI's own help.
- Aitane's login screen opens. Log in with your Google or Microsoft account.
- A consent screen asks (外部 AI の名前)にAitaneへのアクセスを許可しますか? (Allow (external AI) to access Aitane?). Check what you're granting (商談・ミーティング・タスク・連絡先の参照, viewing deals, meetings, tasks, and contacts) and click 許可する (Allow).
- When you see 接続が完了しました (Connection complete), you're done. You can now ask the external AI about your Aitane data.
The 見つける (Discover) tab in Settings → Aitane MCP lists the external AI you can connect as cards. Clicking a card opens that external AI's official website (or official documentation).
What external AI can look up
A connected external AI looks up the following data as needed to answer your questions.
- Deals, contacts, and companies (search)
- Individual records, including meetings, transcripts, notes, tasks, emails, deal analysis reports, and users
- Task lists and meeting lists
- Message threads
- Activity
- Free time on your own calendar
- Sales insights
Custom object data can't be looked up.
External AI can only look up data within the permissions you have in Aitane. Lookups from external AI are recorded in activity as 外部AIから参照 (Referenced by external AI).
Check or remove a connection
- Open the 接続済み (Connected) tab in Settings → Aitane MCP. Your connected external AI are listed.
- Click 連携解除 (Disconnect) on the external AI you want to remove.
To use it again, connect it again with the steps in "Connect an external AI".
Connections that go unused for 90 days are removed automatically.
What isn't available yet
