Record meetings
Setting up the recording bot and reviewing recordings, transcripts, and minutes
Updated 2026.08.24
This page covers letting the bot join your meetings to capture recordings, transcripts, and minutes. It takes about 10 minutes. We recommend a short test meeting the first time.
How recording works
Aitane's bot joins the meeting as a participant and records it. When the meeting ends, a transcript and minutes (summary and action items) are generated from the recording.
The bot appears as a participant, so everyone in the meeting can see it is recording. For meetings with external guests, a quick heads-up beforehand keeps things smooth.
Setting up auto-join
Choose when the bot should auto-join under Settings → Recording in Auto-recording settings. The default is "All meetings with a web link".
You can control this at three levels — the whole workspace, your own meetings, and a single meeting. How to skip recording for one meeting, and what to do when someone sends you a meeting link, are covered in Meeting bot settings.
Reviewing the record
- Open Meetings in the left navigation to see your meeting list.
- Select a meeting to review its recording, transcript, and minutes.
- Minutes are editable — read them over and tidy them up before sending.
If recording isn't working
- Supported meeting tools are Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams. In-person meetings and other tools cannot be recorded
- If the bot doesn't join, see the checklist in Meeting bot settings
